Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Litigation Associate Attorney in Tampa, FL, focused on commercial litigation, business litigation, civil litigation, contract disputes, insurance litigation, and property litigation. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience who is ready to manage meaningful case responsibilities, work directly with clients, and contribute to complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial and business litigation matters from case intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and develop litigation strategies and recommendations.
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for litigation proceedings and maintain strong client communication.
- Coordinate with attorneys, staff, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel while managing deadlines and case activity.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $120,000 per year.
