Adecco Staffing is assisting a Medical Device Manufacturer in Bedford MA in sourcing for a Material Inspector! Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical background & ASQ certified.

Location
: Bedford, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24–$29/hour

Position Overview
Seeking a Material Inspector II with strong mechanical inspection experience to inspect incoming materials and products for quality and conformance to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring equipment, and working with inspection documentation. ASQ certification and SAP experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, components, and products for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Use fixed, preset, and precision measuring instruments to perform inspections.
  • Read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Verify materials meet established quality, tolerance, and performance requirements.
  • Inspect incoming materials and chemicals and document results.
  • Enter inspection data and disposition materials in SAP.
  • Apply barcodes to incoming materials and use barcode scanners.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and inspection area.
  • Support special inspection assignments and other duties as directed.
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical inspection or quality inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to accurately document inspection results and material dispositions.
  • Willingness to develop knowledge of GD&T, FDA/GMP, and SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certification preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience inspecting incoming materials and components.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
