Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with autism and augmentative communication devices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Flexible, compassionate, and eager to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve a caseload of approximately ten or fewer students per group, supporting diverse communication needs
  • Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy, focusing on students with autism and AAC device users
  • Perform evaluations and develop IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
  • Deliver direct therapy and consult with teachers and families to generalize student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development
