Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a long-term care mail order environment in Chicago, IL. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to contribute in a dynamic setting while working with industry-standard systems, with potential for permanent placement.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks, with temp-to-direct hire potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and enter orders using the Frameworks system (training provided)
- Support pharmacy operations within a long-term care or retail pharmacy environment
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and safe medication distribution
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required
- Previous experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with Frameworks system is an advantage but not required
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
