Job Description
Join a respected litigation team as a full-time Associate Attorney working in civil litigation. Areas of focus include Professional Liability, Tort and Liability Defense, and Workers' Compensation. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 1 to 3 years of civil litigation experience who is eager to tackle complex legal challenges.

The salary range is $90,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience.

A Day in the Life of an Associate AttorneyAs a civil litigation Associate Attorney, your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. You will:
Manage your own caseload from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while adhering to deadlines.
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
Work closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies.
Communicate regularly with clients and provide case updates and interim status reports.
Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
Work alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure effective case management.

What Matters MostTo succeed as an Associate Attorney, you will need the following qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar.
At least 1 year of prior civil litigation experience.
Experience practicing in both New Hampshire state and federal courts.
Strong advocacy and communication skills.
Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Experience responding to discovery requests.
Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
