  • Delegate tasks effectively and oversee occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
  • Deliver occupational therapy treatments and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations, as well as professional standards.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the facility are met.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure or certification required by the first day of employment.
  • CPR certification preferred, unless mandated otherwise by hospital policy.
  • Completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or one deemed substantially equivalent by a recognized certifying body is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and caregivers are essential.
  • Proven competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
