Quick Facts: Location: Rhinelander, WI (Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital) Start Date: 08/08/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Mostly single coverage with some overlap; double coverage with APCs; flexible shifts Hours/week: Over 20 shifts/month (flexible) Employment Type: Contract/Locum Licenses/Certs: State medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Experience: Prefer 1+ years of emergency medicine experience Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $150/hour (orientation rate) Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per state/federal laws) Reimbursements for licensure, travel, certifications, and more 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You'll Do: Provide emergency medical care at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and nearby facilities Cover shifts with a mix of single and double coverage, including admissions (~20% rate) Collaborate with APCs and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care Manage a wide range of emergency cases, from minor to critical Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital protocols Contribute to a team committed to patient safety and excellent service What You Need: Current Wisconsin medical license and DEA Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine CPR, ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications 1+ year of emergency medicine experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and ready to start immediately About the Assignment: Located in the scenic Northwoods of Wisconsin, Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital offers a unique blend of professional opportunity and outdoor adventure.
