Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a 13-week contract for a Pharmacy Technician with a pharmacy located in Templeton, CA. The role begins ASAP and features a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable days and afternoons. The Director of Pharmacy is committed to flexible scheduling to accommodate the technician’s availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounding medications accurately.
• Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis units).
• Manage incoming calls to the pharmacy, addressing inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls and assist with stock management.
• Support the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations and workflow.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist License.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
