Office Clerk – Fontana, CA

Pay: $19.00–$23.00/hour

Job Duties:

  • Out door in all weather conditions
  • Check in drivers at the lumber/steel areas and scale house.
  • Data entry, computer skills
  • Enter and maintain driver and inventory information.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), scale tickets, invoices, and daily reports.
  • Answer phones and respond to customer emails.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, inventory, and deliveries.
  • File paperwork and complete general clerical tasks.
  • Provide paperwork to drivers and assist with standby drivers.
  • Occasionally help direct truck traffic and check vehicles.
  • Follow customer-specific procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Work both inside the office and outside as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable with repetitive clerical tasks.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Must be flexible with shift start times.

Shifts:
3:30 AM–12:30 PM | 5:00 AM–2:00 PM | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
