Production Manager

Location: Streator, IL| Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of approximately 60 employees in a high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, coaching leader with strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.

• Lead production teams across preprocessing, welding, and assembly.

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and production output.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, FMEA, KPI, and process improvement initiatives.

• Coach and develop supervisors, team leaders, and operators.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality.

• Lead production improvement and new product introduction projects.

• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Service, and Sales.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related technical field.

• 3+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience.

• Several years of production leadership experience.

• High-mix/low-volume manufacturing experience.

• Experience with welding, fabrication, and assembly environments.

• Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, 5S, OEE, FMEA, and KPIs.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on, shop-floor leadership approach.
