Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Phoenix, AZ, supporting a commercial real estate property management portfolio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented property management professional who enjoys variety, teamwork, tenant interaction, vendor coordination, building operations, lease administration, and financial reporting.
MUST HAVE: Degree, Commercial Property experience and live near Ahwatukee.
The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with senior leadership, engineering, accounting, vendors, tenants, and internal business partners to help ensure properties are operated efficiently, professionally, and with a high level of service. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative commercial property management environment with supportive leadership, exposure to multiple areas of the business, and room to continue building a long-term real estate career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily commercial building operations, including tenant service requests, inspections, vendor scheduling, incident reports, life safety items, and insurance claim coordination.
- Assist with tenant relations, tenant communications, new tenant packages, construction coordination, vacant space inspections, and monthly property inspections.
- Prepare bid packages, service contracts, construction orders, service orders, project pricing requests, and work order reporting.
- Support financial processes including invoice coding, accounts payable, monthly accruals, accounts receivable review, budget tracking, tenant bill-backs, and operating expense reconciliations.
- Maintain daily communication with property management, engineering, accounting, business operations, tenants, brokers, vendors, and visitors.
- Assist with meetings, management office coverage, security report reviews, tenant memos, and other administrative property management needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
