Job Summary
Financial institution is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant for a contract/temporary opportunity in Los Angeles, CA within the banking and consumer lending industry. This role is ideal for a proactive, service-oriented professional who enjoys supporting office operations, coordinating administrative workflows, and helping teams stay organized and productive.
The Administrative Assistant will work closely with internal stakeholders across Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Facilities. This opportunity offers exposure to a professional corporate office environment, supportive cross-functional teams, and a role where attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong follow-through make a direct impact on daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shared administrative mailboxes for invoices, billing notices, office requests, and general administrative inquiries.
- Review incoming invoices for accuracy, supporting documentation, and completeness before routing them to designated approvers.
- Support daily Los Angeles office operations, including mail, courier services, shipments, deliveries, work orders, and parking-related requests.
- Coordinate employee lunches, meetings, training events, office functions, and engagement activities.
- Maintain office supply, pantry, and operational inventory levels, including reorder tracking, purchase requests, and approvals.
- Provide general administrative support to staff and management while helping keep common areas stocked, organized, and business-ready.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Contract/Temporary.
