Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Lafayette, LA 70503
Duration: 3 Months with Possible Extension
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 40 hrs. per week
Requirements:
- Active RN License (State or Compact) – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience – Required
Job Description:
- Providing safe and effective patient care using the Nursing Process
- Assessing patient and family learning needs and implementing appropriate teaching strategies
- Communicating and coordinating effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Managing nursing resources efficiently and supporting team collaboration
- Using clinical data and knowledge to improve patient outcomes and care processes
- Promoting patient satisfaction, teamwork, and professional nursing standards
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
