Responsibilities
- Process and enter accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts
- Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets for the accounting team
- Review financial information for accuracy and completeness
- Support data entry and recordkeeping functions within the accounting department
- Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects and administrative duties as assigned
- High school diploma required; Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting clerk experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with month-end close activities
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or Sage
