Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. This position is represented by SEIU.br brJob Requirements:brbrEducation and Work Experience:br ul liAssociate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required/li liBachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred/li liMaster's Degree: Preferred/li liThree years' technical experience: Preferred/li /ulbrLicenses/Certifications:br ul liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required/li liAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required/li liMust have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET): Required/li liARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required/li liARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET: Required/li /ulbrFacility Specific License/Certifications:br ul liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li /ulbrEssential Functions:br ul liPerforms various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently./li liSafely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart.
