Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Weekend: Weekend opportunities available
Pay: $500/day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher
We are seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to join a well-established cosmetic and family dental practice in Homewood, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist with at least 1 year of experience who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a supportive and professional environment.
The practice primarily serves adult patients, with an average of 5-6 patients per day. The Associate Dentist will work alongside an experienced dentist and a dedicated team in a quality-focused environment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative care.
Perform procedures including extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic dental systems.
Follow HIPAA, infection control, and state dental regulations.
Practice effective four-handed dentistry and collaborate with the dental team.
Maintain a high standard of patient safety, comfort, and quality of care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment techniques.
Active Alabama Dental License.
Minimum 1 year of dental experience.
New graduates are not being considered for this position.
DEA registration/certification and Controlled Substance Certification.
Current CPR Certification.
Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Experience with general dentistry procedures, including restorative dentistry, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants.
Familiarity with electronic dental records and dental terminology.
Commitment to infection control and patient safety.
$500 per day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher.
401(k) available after 1 year.
Paid malpractice insurance after 1 year.
Up to $5,000 in paid continuing education (CE) after 1 year.
