Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a growing pediatric outpatient team in Westborough, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a family-centered, play-based environment providing one-on-one therapy services to children with developmental, sensory, and motor challenges.
The clinic serves children ages 2-12 with conditions including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, and fine motor deficits. This position offers flexible scheduling, mentorship, and a collaborative team environment dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential.
Schedule
Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem
Flexible scheduling
Weekday afternoons and/or weekends
Minimum 10 hours per week; up to 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one occupational therapy treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).

Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on:
Sensory integration
Fine motor development
Visual-motor integration
Self-care and ADL skills
Play and functional development
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Educate and communicate with parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and treatment progress.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in team meetings, care planning, and family education sessions.

QualificationsRequired
Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Previous pediatric outpatient experience
