Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA with a growing finance team in a manufacturing and high-tech environment. This is a hands-on role for an accounting professional who understands the full accounting cycle and enjoys working closely with operations, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory-related accounting, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support timely month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, deferred revenue, and expense reporting.
- Review financial statements, perform variance analysis, and investigate discrepancies to support accurate reporting.
- Support inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related accounting activities, including reconciliations and analysis.
- Assist with audits, compliance requests, financial reporting schedules, and internal control documentation.
- Partner with operations and finance leadership to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
