Optometrist

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Optometrist (OD) to join a well-established private practice in South Carolina. The selected provider may work at any of the following locations:

• Spartanburg: 180 N Dean St, Spartanburg, SC 29302

• Woodruff: 363 East Georgia Street, Woodruff, SC 29388

• Inman: 43 North Main Street, Inman, SC 29349

• Gaffney: 1506A N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340

• Full-Time (3-4 days per week)

• Monday-Friday schedule

• No evening clinic responsibilities

• No weekend clinic requirements

• Shared on-call rotation with seven other Optometrists

• Office-based private practice

• One opening available

• Guaranteed annual salary of $120,000

• 17% of net production with uncapped earning potential

• Providers receive the greater of:

  • $120,000 guaranteed salary, or

  • 17% of net production

• Established patient base with strong production opportunities from day one

• Performance-based compensation reviews

• 15 days Paid Time Off (PTO)

• 8 paid holidays annually

• SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with up to a 3% employer match

• Practice pays 50% of employee health insurance premium

• Fully paid malpractice insurance

• Up to $2,000 annually for Continuing Education (courses, travel, and lodging)

• Established private practice with a loyal patient base

• Full-scope optometry

• Minimal administrative responsibilities

• See approximately 25-35 patients per day

• Treat patients ages 3 years and older

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

• Eligible for South Carolina state licensure
