A specialty pharmacy in Milaca, MN, is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a per diem assignment with a focus on both retail and long-term care pharmacy services. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in diverse pharmacy settings and is committed to excellent patient care.
Schedule:
- August 26, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- August 27, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- August 28, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- September 1, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive long-term care pharmacist duties, including medication regimen review and consultation for long-term care patients.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications and counseling patients.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
- Administer immunizations as needed in accordance with certification.
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree or MTM certification.
- Immunization certification required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of retail and long-term care pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
