\nYou will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
\n - \n
Associate or bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent military MOS preferred.
\n - \n
Five (5) years of experience in a cogeneration power plant which includes the operation, maintenance and repair of combustion turbines, heat recovery steam generators, steam turbines, emergency generators, boilers, chillers, distributed control systems and ancillary equipment.
\n - \n
Preferred CT OE-2 Operating Stationary Engineer license.
\n - \n
Relevant work experience in electrical Co-generation, Boiler House, and Water Treatment processes.
\n - \n
Experience with power distribution, manufacturing distributed control systems, instrumentation, pumps, valves, etc.
\n - \n
Possess high degree of "people" skills and be able to effectively communicate with other team members daily.
\n - \n
Must be able to work rotating shift schedule (including nights & weekends)
\n - \n
Candidate must be able to work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, etc. Enter and work in confined spaces
\n - \n
Knowledge and experience with SAP
\n - \n
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership ability
\n - \n
Experience operating 10+ MW combustion gas turbines.
\n - \n
Experience operating industrial boilers over 50KPPH capacity.
\n - \n
Experience operating industrial steam turbines.
\n - \n
Experience operating gas, electric, and steam driven chillers.
\n - \n
Understanding of an electrical high voltage 13.8 kV distribution power grid.
\n
Responsibilities:
\nLead Utilities Operator will report to the Utilities Asset Leader and receive directions in the form of specific objectives. Recognized for understanding application of technology and demonstrates ability to interface with team members.

Be a working team member of the Co-Gen operating team – troubleshoot, adjust, and operate Co-Gen, Boiler House (BoHo), chiller farm & Water treatment Plant (WTP) processes.
\n - \n
Provide on shift leadership for Co-Gen operations – provide work direction to operating team members, lead shift operations team meetings, develop plan of the day, & lead the decision-making process for problems and out of standard conditions surrounding Co-Gen, BoHo, & WTP
\n - \n
Develop safe operating procedures (SOP) for the new task/review SOP, train the team on standard SOP across all the crews.
\n - \n
Interface with external parties such as electric and gas utility suppliers, ISO-NE, and host on-site vendors as necessary.
\n - \n
Lead on shift training and development of less experienced operators.
\n - \n
Monitor, troubleshoot, and operate other utilities processes on nights & weekends (i.e., chiller farm, mill service water systems, compressed air, condensate return pumps, HVAC systems, Effluent treatment plant (ETP)).
\n - \n
Problem solve and optimize related processes.
\n - \n
Provide performance feedback & annual assessments for assigned team members.
\n - \n
Participate in department objective & goal setting.
\n - \n
Participate in weekly maintenance planning.
\n - \n
Participate in planning major outages.
\n - \n
Participate in failure analysis and follow-up on action items.
\n - \n
Support development and adherence to housekeeping standards.
\n - \n
Provide confined space supervision.
\n - \n
Work toward level 2 wastewater treatment plant license.
\n

Starting Hourly Wage: $50.05 USD
\n\n

This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year.
