\n&99;️ What you’ll be doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Program, set up, and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs), CNC lathes, and horizontal machines \n
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve cycle time and efficiency \n
- Machine castings and ensure proper workholding and stability \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications \n
- Select tooling, establish offsets, and verify setups \n
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections \n
- Troubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issues independently \n
- Help oversee daily shop operations and support other machinists \n
- Maintain safety, quality, and production standards \n
This role requires someone who can think ahead, solve problems, and lead by example on the shop floor.

- Strong experience with VMCs, CNC lathes, and horizontal machines \n
- Experience machining castings (required) \n
- Ability to program, edit, and optimize CNC programs \n
- Strong blueprint reading and tolerance control \n
- Experience performing full setups and selecting tooling \n
- Leadership ability to oversee shop operations \n
- Ability to troubleshoot independently \n
- Must provide and maintain your own precision measuring tools \n

Pay, benefits & schedule
