Quick Facts Location: 2705 Harris Street, Eureka, CA 95503, United States Start Date: 07/20/2024 End Date/Duration: July 24, 2024, with potential for ongoing coverage Shift: 7 am – 4 pm, Monday–Friday Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract/Locum License/Certs: CA license preferred, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, BC required Experience: Prior CRNA experience; clean malpractice and background Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: rate to be confirmed and discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical coverage (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses Robust referral bonus program 24/7 support from VHS team throughout assignment What You’ll Do Provide anesthesia care for outpatient procedures under supervision of a medical director Manage anesthesia for outpatient surgeries and procedures Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff for safe patient outcomes Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements Document all procedures and care in electronic medical records Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards What You Need Active California medical license (or in-hand license or LOQ with IMLC approval) Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS Board Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience preferred Clean malpractice history and background Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills About the Assignment This outpatient CRNA role involves providing anesthesia services in a busy clinic setting.
