Are you a fast-paced welder who thrives in a high-volume assembly environment? We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team in Fremont, CA, helping build high-quality assemblies for the cutting-edge clean energy sector (solid oxide fuel cell generators).
If you excel at high-speed precision, repeatable quality, and mastering advanced techniques like Pulse Welding on an active manufacturing line, this is the role for you.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 1+ years of TIG welding experience with a background in Pulse Welding techniques.
Manufacturing Focus: 2–3 years in a fast-paced, high-volume production or assembly line environment (preferred over custom project/job-shop work).
Certifications: Valid welding certification from an accredited school is highly preferred.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints, follow strict SOPs/work instructions, and operate production fixtures confidently.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.ZPMLSTCM

Responsibilities
High-Efficiency Pulse & TIG Welding: Execute precise, repeatable Pulse TIG/MIG welds on fast-paced assembly lines to join fuel cell components across multiple positions (overhead, vertical, horizontal).
Assembly Line Fixturing: Secure, align, and fit components rapidly using dedicated production jigs, clamps, and fixtures to maintain continuous workflow.
In-Line Quality & Testing: Perform rigorous quality checks and leak tests on completed welds to ensure zero-defect production standards.
Production Equipment Operation: Safely operate power lifts, hoists, and modern welding power sources optimized for high-volume pulse processes.
Lean Manufacturing (5S): Maintain a clean, streamlined workstation, track gas/consumable levels, and actively participate in continuous improvement to optimize line speed and safety.
