Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision craftsmanship? We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup & Operator Machinist with Multi-Axis Turning experience on Lathe Machines—including Citizen and/or Star Swiss machines—to join a precision-driven manufacturing team. Programming expertise using Mastercam is required for this role.
In this role, you’ll work on high-complexity components, including Class 1, 2, and 3 Medical Devices and critical ISO 9001-controlled products. If you thrive in an environment where your expertise in tight tolerances, multi-axis setup, and offline programming is valued, this is the place for you.
Qualifications
Multi-Axis & Swiss Turning Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating Multi-Axis Turning Lathe machines, as well as Star and/or Citizen Swiss screw machines (Required).
Mastercam Programming: Proven ability to create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam (Required).
Setup Track Record: 3+ years of full machine setup, tooling selection, and troubleshooting experience (Preferred).
Blueprints & Tolerances: Ability to read complex engineering drawings/GD&T and hold tight tolerances on critical parts.
Medical / ISO Experience: Prior experience machining Medical Class 1, 2, 3 components or working within ISO 9001 strict environments is a plus.

Responsibilities
Program & Setup: Program multi-axis turning lathes using Mastercam, and perform complete, independent setups on multi-axis turning lathes and Swiss Screw machines (Star/Citizen) for optimal cycle times and maximum machine utilization.
Precision Machining: Fabricate custom and recurring complex components directly from customer drawings, CAD models, and blueprints using advanced multi-axis lathe operations.
Quality Control: Calibrate equipment, hold extremely tight tolerances, and perform required inspections and documentation to medical-grade/ISO 9001 standards.
Process Improvement: Create detailed tool sheets and programs for new and revised jobs, continuously refining machining processes for cycle time efficiency.
Maintenance: Keep your work center running at peak performance through preventive and predictive maintenance routines.
Collaborate: Keep lines of communication open with Team Leaders regarding cycle times, programming updates, and daily shift logs.
