Our organization, situated in Kane, Pennsylvania, is seeking a General Surgeon to become part of our esteemed network. The practice receives referrals from the UPMC Kane health network, which encompasses clinics across seven communities: Bradford, Johnsonburg, Kane, Mt. Jewett, Ridgway, Sheffield, and Warren. Surgical procedures are conducted at UPMC Kane, a 14-bed critical access hospital.
Position Highlights:
- Independent Practice: Experience the freedom of a solo practice with comprehensive hospital and administrative support.
- Dynamic Schedule: Opportunity to expand your practice, performing approximately 80-100 procedures monthly, without obstetrics responsibilities.
- Diverse Surgical Cases: Engage in a variety of general surgery procedures, including laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more.
- Efficient Care Coordination: All admissions are managed directly at UPMC Kane for optimal patient flow.
- Community Support: Serve surrounding communities through regional clinic locations utilizing EPIC EMR.
- Hands-On Approach: No robotic surgery program, ideal for surgeons who prefer traditional techniques and continuity of care.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
- American Board Eligible or Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials
- DEA certification
