Job Description
Our organization is seeking a part-time pediatrician to join our outpatient team in South Fayette, Pennsylvania. As the largest pediatric primary care network in Western Pennsylvania, we serve over 200,000 patients each year across more than 50 locations. We are affiliated with a highly regarded children's hospital, recognized as one of the top 10 in the nation by U.S. News. Additionally, we take pride in being Joint Commission Accredited and certified as a Primary Care Medical Home.
Position OverviewThe role is based at our well-established after-hours facility, Children’s Express Care-South Fayette, which is staffed by one pediatrician and two advanced practice providers. The part-time position entails:
- Working an average of 5 sessions per week (each session lasting 4 hours).
- Availability every other weekend.
- Offering 10 days of paid time off (PTO) and 7 holidays.
- No on-call duties, delivery, or NICU coverage required.

Children's Express CareWith 9 locations across Pennsylvania, our Children's Express Care facilities handle approximately 100,000 pediatric visits annually. The care provided mirrors that of our primary care locations, and we collaborate with Radiology to ensure patient access during operational hours. The CEC-South Fayette is situated within our outpatient center and operates from 5 PM to 9 PM on weekdays, Noon to 8 PM on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sundays.
