Join Our Expanding Women's Services TeamWe are looking for a committed OB/GYN Hospitalist to become part of our growing inpatient women's services program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role provides a collaborative, physician-led care model, supported by advanced practice providers, and involves high-volume obstetrical services along with access to extensive maternal-fetal and neonatal resources within a developing regional healthcare system.

- Strong commitment to continuity of women's healthcare services in the community
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree required
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Board Certification must be obtained within the established eligibility period
- Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina
- Willingness to secure North Carolina licensure if currently licensed in another state
The OB/GYN Hospitalist will deliver comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, which includes:
- Providing labor and delivery coverage and managing inpatient obstetrical cases
- Evaluating and managing obstetrical triage patients and inpatient gynecological consultations
- Performing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and necessary emergency obstetrical procedures
- Managing obstetrical emergencies in close collaboration with anesthesia, neonatal, nursing, and surgical teams
- Delivering postpartum and inpatient gynecological care
- Assisting with surgical backup and urgent gynecological procedures as needed
- Collaborating with community OB/GYN physicians and outpatient providers to ensure seamless care
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in the Epic electronic medical record
- Effectively communicating with patients and families regarding treatment plans and care coordination
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and evidence-based practice efforts
- Supporting patient experience initiatives and service excellence standards
