- The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring the safe delivery of patient care for a variety of patient populations.
- The RN evaluates the needs of patients and their families, sets and prioritizes patient goals, assesses care delivery, and continuously updates the care plan to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and families.
- The RN delegates care appropriately to enhance patient outcomes.
- The RN complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Job Requirements:
- Active Kansas RN Licensure.
- Associate’s degree in nursing.
- BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position and before providing direct patient care.
- For Tele, ICU, and PCU, ACLS certification is required.
- Oncology certification is necessary for post-surgery roles.
- All mandatory certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
