Temporary Evening Receptionist – York£12.71 per hour | Monday–Thursday, 4:45pm–9:00pm | Temporary positionWe are looking for a friendly, reliable and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis, covering our Welcome Desk from 4:45pm to 9:00pm, Monday to Thursday.This is a varied, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and creating a warm and welcoming environment.Key responsibilitiesWelcoming visitors, students and members of the publicAnswering and responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiriesProviding support and information to students and visitorsSupporting the smooth running of our adult evening classes, particularly at the start of termPreparing and setting up temporary student lanyards ready for the following dayAssisting with general Welcome Desk and reception duties as requiredAbout youWe are looking for someone who is:Friendly, approachable and professionalConfident communicating with people face-to-face, over the telephone and via emailOrganised, reliable and punctualComfortable working independently and as part of a teamAble to provide a friendly and professional welcome to our students and visitorsEssential requirement: The successful candidate must already hold their own Enhanced DBS check , which must have been issued within the last three months .
