Housekeeper - Country Inn

The Green Dragon Inn stands in a stunning location overlooking Upper Wensleydale. Situated beneath the rising fells of Great Shunner Fell, not far from the town of Hawes.

This ancient traditional Dales Inn, dating from 13th century, with flagged floors, open fires, beamed ceilings, and stone walls is a privately owned free house. They sell a range of drinks including locally brewed real ale and gin, along with traditional pub food.

Offering contemporary accommodation, and food that is locally sourced, they ensure their customers have a first-class experience, every time they stay, or visit.

What we need from you as a Housekeeper:

• No experience needed; full training provided
\n
• You must live within a 30-mile radius of DL8 3LZ
\n
• You can work independently, whilst maintaining a high level of performance
\n
• Have great customer service skills, professional, friendly, polite, etc
\n
• Be organised and possess good time management skills
\n
• Possess good attention to detail
\n
• Be used to working quickly without compromising on quality
\n
• Driving Licence is essential due to the location
\n

What this role involves:

You will perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, changing bedding, and cleaning bathrooms in accommodation rooms/apartments. Turning them around for the next guests. Other duties include:

• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
\n
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
\n
• Notify Managers of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
\n
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace themwhere appropriate
\n
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding Health & Safety and be aware of any company-related practices
\n

Salary: Starting on £13.50 per hour, increasing after 1 month.

Hours of work: 20 40 hours per week. Working part-time or full-time. Core hours are9am-4pm, shifts available 7 days a week. Days/hours to be negotiated and weekend work will also be required.
