Financial Accountant

Adele Carr Recruitmentis delighted to be partnering with a successful and expanding organisation on the Wirral who are planning to appoint a Financial Accountant following an internal promotion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, ambitious and technically strong ACA / ACCA qualified accountant, ideally trained within a Big 4 / Top 10 practice, who's ready to take their technical expertise into industry and build a long-term finance career.

You'll be joining a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, growing organisation, gaining exposure well beyond traditional financial accounting.

Initially hands-on and technically focused, the position is designed to broaden as you develop, giving you increasing exposure to commercial finance, senior stakeholders and business-wide decision making.

• Review of management accounts and monthly financial reporting
\n
• Ownership of balance sheet integrity and financial controls
\n
• Statutory accounts preparation and audit support
\n
• Exposure to complex and technical accounting matters
\n
• Improving financial processes, controls and reporting
\n
• Partnering with senior stakeholders and providing financial insight
\n
• Supporting the wider finance team as the business continues to grow
\n

• ACA / ACCA qualified
\n
• Ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice
\n
• Strong audit, accounting and technical reporting background
\n
• Commercially curious and keen to broaden beyond pure technical accounting
\n
• Self motivated, confident, personable and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
\n
• Ambitious and looking for genuine career progression
