Maintenance Technician - Electrical or Mechanical Bias (Alternating Shifts)

Working across a varied range of manufacturing equipment, you'll diagnose faults, complete planned maintenance and help improve machinery reliability within a busy manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair manufacturing equipment
\n
• Respond to production breakdowns safely and effectively
\n
• Complete preventative maintenance and equipment improvements
\n
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings
\n
• Work across both legacy and modern manufacturing machinery
\n
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS
\n
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Promote high standards of safety and housekeeping
\n

Essential Experience & Qualifications\n

\n
• Time served engineering apprenticeship
\n
• Minimum ONC, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
\n
• At least two years' manufacturing maintenance experience
\n
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
\n
• PLC fault-finding experience
\n
• Experience maintaining production machinery
\n
• Root cause analysis and reliability improvement experience
\n
• Able to work independently or within a team
\n
