Healthcare Assistant (HCA) / Phlebotomist – Ongoing Locum Opportunity Clinical System: SystmOne Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or Phlebotomist to provide short-term locum cover for approximately four weeks, with an immediate start available. This opportunity offers a regular schedule and the chance to work within a supportive primary care environment. Working Pattern * Approximately 3 days per week * Working hours: 08:30 – 17:30 * 1-hour unpaid lunch break Responsibilities * Routine phlebotomy clinics with appointments booked in 10-minute blood-taking slots * General HCA duties where applicable * Health reviews, including areas such as: * Hypertension reviews * Learning Disability reviews * Other routine HCA clinics as required * Accurate patient record management using SystmOne What’s on Offer * Immediate start available * Ongoing locum cover for approximately one month * Consistent weekly sessions * Supportive primary care team * Parking available at some practice sites Requirements * Previous experience as an HCA and/or Phlebotomist within Primary Care * Competent in venepuncture and routine clinical procedures * SystmOne experience preferred * Excellent communication and patient care skills * Ability to work independently and efficiently within a busy practice setting This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HCA or Phlebotomist seeking regular locum work with a manageable workload and immediate start
