\n Our client, operating in the aerospace sector, is urgently seeking a dedicated MRO Senior Technician (Global Deployment) to join their dynamic team. This permanent role involves maintaining and supporting Windracers UAV, ensuring they are of the highest operational standard. With a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, you will need to be adaptable and ready to work in diverse, challenging environments, including conflict zones.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

    \n
  • Embodiment of planned fleet modifications
  • \n
  • Completion of scheduled maintenance
  • \n
  • Diagnosing, planning, and completing unscheduled maintenance and repair
  • \n
  • Collaborating with engineering/R&D on post manufacture product development modifications
  • \n
  • Conducting ground testing for quality assurance and fault diagnosis
  • \n
  • Rectifying faults found during ground testing
  • \n
  • Supporting ground handling, refuelling, and flying operations
  • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with airspace regulations and safety protocols
  • \n
  • Documenting and reporting issues, gathering necessary data
  • \n
  • Staying informed about aviation regulations and obtaining necessary permits
  • \n
  • Coordinating with ground crews, project managers, and team members
  • \n
  • Recording flight, maintenance, modification, and incident activities accurately
  • \n
  • Participating in training programmes to stay updated on UAV technology and best practices
  • \n
  • Carrying out general duties to accomplish the company's goals
  • \n

\nQualifications & Experience:\n
\n

  • Experienced vehicle technician (air, automotive, marine, or rail)
  • \n
  • Proficient in mechanical or electrical/electronic vehicle fault diagnosis
  • \n
  • Supervisory experience in trade groups
  • \n
  • Capability to adapt and learn new skills
  • \n
  • Proficiency in reading and giving feedback on engineering drawings
  • \n
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • \n
  • Desirable: Instructional experience and project management software usage
  • \n
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • \n
