Maintenance Manager (Electrical)
Job Description
Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Manager (Electrical).
Salary £65K - £70K Neg + Bonus
We are seeking an experienced electrical bias maintenance manager / supervisor with excellent management and/or supervisory experience to manage and control all maintenance and CAP-ex projects activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Morden.
\nThe Role:
\nThe Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all planned & reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work.
\n Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- \n
- Maintain and develop the existing CMMS \n
- Management & control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractors \n
- Plan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projects \n
- Effective Budget and CAPEX Project management \n
- Monitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement parts \n
- Ensure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are met \n
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possible \n
- Ensure compliance with all legal and HSE requirements \n
- Provide 'Hands-on' assistance with electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance and repair of plant and machinery. \n
Candidate:
\nYou will be an experienced maintenance manager /supervisor with electrical bias.
\n Applicants will have previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector e.g. chemical plants, plastics, metals, quarry or recycling.
You will have at least 5 years management /supervisory experience and you must me confident in leading a team of engineers and external contractors.
\nYou will hold recognised electrical engineering qualification and ideally you will be trained in health & safety management to IOSH or NEBOSH level.
\nYou will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g. HNC, degree or 18th edition certification and you will have good knowledge and understanding of plc systems.
\n We are seeking a highly organised and effective leader who will maintain a visible presence on the shop floor.
