\nSalary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends & bank holidays
Typical Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

\nWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the kitchen leadership team at Hoar Cross Hall.
\nThis is a senior, hands-on position offering a structured 40-hour working week, with typical shifts of 8:00am-4:30pm – giving you the opportunity to progress your career while maintaining a better balance outside of work.
\nWhat You’ll Be Doing

- Leading and motivating the kitchen brigade \n
- Delivering consistently high standards of food and presentation \n
- Taking charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence \n
- Coaching, training and developing the team \n
- Supporting rotas and the smooth running of service \n
- Managing ordering, stock, food costs and waste \n
- Supporting menu development and seasonal dishes \n
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, allergen and Health & Safety standards \n
- Working with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver a fantastic guest experience \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- Have proven previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience within a quality hospitality environment \n
- Have excellent leadership and people-management skills \n
- Have excellent culinary skills and attention to detail \n
- Have a good knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and Health & Safety \n
- Have experience with ordering, stock and food-cost control \n
- Have a calm, organised approach to busy services \n
- Have a passion for great food and developing people \n

- Due to the rural location of the role and no public transport options, applicants will need access to their own vehicle to travel to and from the workplace. \n
