We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing fire & Security business for an experienced Small Works Engineer to join their team.The role will predominantly involve small electrical works, emergency lighting installations and replacements, and the installation/replacement of fused spurs , with the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects. You will be expected to travel to sites within London/M25The ideal candidate will be a skilled and reliable electrician who is comfortable working independently and representing the company professionally when working on client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, replacement and maintenance of emergency lighting systemsInstallation and replacement of fused spursCarrying out general electrical small worksElectrical fault finding and basic diagnosticsTesting and inspection of completed worksCompleting relevant paperwork and job sheets accuratelyIdentifying additional works and reporting requirements to managementWorking to current electrical regulations and company standardsLiaising professionally with clients and site contactsMaintaining a high standard of health & safety at all timesTravelling to various commercial sites as requiredDesirable ExperienceIdeally, you will have experience with:Emergency lighting installation, replacement and testingFused spurs and general small electrical worksCommercial electrical installationsFault findingFire alarm systems installation, maintenance or basic fault finding would be highly advantageousWorking independently across multiple client sitesEssential RequirementsQualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications18th Edition Wiring RegulationsECS Gold CardFull UK Driving LicencePrevious experience within a commercial electrical environmentGood understanding of electrical health & safety requirementsProfessional approach and good communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a varied workloadTPBN1_UKTJ
