Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team working on sites across the Thames valley region in Buckimghamshire and Oxfordshire.Location: Buckimghamshire and Oxfordshire- remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role .As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in our commercial team, assisting with the commercial management of our Water Framework project during the construction phase. Your day to day will include:Managing valuations, project cashflows, and producing comprehensive monthly cost reportsEnsuring compliance with procurement strategies and reviewing subcontract tendersProviding expert contractual advice and handling documentationDriving commercial initiatives and developing margin improvement plansMentoring and supporting junior team members to meet targets and deadlinesWhat are we looking for?This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:You hold a construction-related degree qualificationYou have a full UK driving licenceYou bring commercial experience working for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposureYou're familiar with various contract formsYou thrive when collaborating with colleagues and building relationshipsWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
