Warehouse and Production Team Leader

About HexealHexeal is a fast-growing FMCG e-commerce business shipping approximately 25,000 orders per week across the UK. We are looking for an organised, driven and hands-on team leader to support the warehouse & Production operation.This is a varied role combining hands-on leadership, quality control, continuous improvement and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse and production departments operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards .Job OverviewWhat you'll do:Coordinate inbound and outbound, adhering to tight deadlinesLiaise with the supervisor and Assistant Manager to ensure issues are dealt with promptlyOversee the quality assurance of goods before they go outSupport with training and day-to-day supervision of a team of up to 40 warehouse operativesLead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targetsEnsure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety legislation.Provide weekend support for label printing – You will be expected to work one in three SaturdaysAllocate work and monitor team performance.Required:Be able to work effectively under pressure while always maintaining a professional approach2+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics team leader roleGood level of physical fitness — this is a physically demanding role involving heavy liftingFlexibility around shift timingsExcellent people and organisational skills, supported by strong attention to detailMust be PC literateDesirable:First aidKnowledge of COSHHCounterbalance Forklift Licence/ExperienceWorking hours: Monday – Friday 8:00- 17:00, one in three Saturdays 7:30 – 14:00.
