Hays Education is recruiting on behalf of a number of schools in the Salisbury area seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

    \n
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
    • \n
  • Support students with their academic, social and emotional development
    • \n
  • Implement strategies to promote engagement and positive behaviour
    • \n
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
    • \n
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
    • \n

What You'll Need

\n

Previous experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs A genuine passion for supporting children and young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one The right to work in the UKDesirable

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience within a school, specialist provision or alternative settingWhat Hays Offers
