HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative
\nLocation: Eastbourne
\nSalary: approximately £120 per day
\nShift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm/4:30pm, with occasional night and weekend work
\nJob Role of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative:
\nAn opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative to support a six-month installation project across Eastbourne and Lewes.
\nThe HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative will collect street furniture and associated equipment from a local storage yard before delivering and unloading it at roadside sites. Responsibilities will include operating the lorry-mounted crane, securing loads, following lifting plans and supporting the installation team on site.
\nSector: Highways / Street Furniture Installation
\nNon-Negotiable Requirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative:
\n- HGV Class 2 licence
\n- Lorry-mounted crane/HIAB qualification and operating experience
\nRequirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative:
\n- Knowledge of lifting plans and safe load handling
\n- Experience loading, securing and transporting materials or equipment
\n- Understanding of vehicle checks and safe HGV operation
\n- Comfortable completing practical, hands-on work at roadside sites
\nDesirable Requirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative:
\n- NRSWA/highways qualification
\n- Previous highways, street furniture or installation experience
\nThe HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative will benefit from:
\n- Six-month contract
\n- Monday-to-Friday working pattern
\n- Local work across Eastbourne and Lewes
\n- Equipment provided for the role
