CNC Machinist (Turner / Miller / Grinder)
Bristol | Permanent | Up to £19.00ph (DOE)

We are working with a number of well-established precision engineering and aerospace manufacturers across the Bristol area who are looking to strengthen their machining teams with experienced CNC Machinists. These are permanent opportunities offering long-term stability, overtime and genuine career development.

THE ROLE

\n

We're looking for experienced CNC Turners, CNC Millers and CNC Grinders to join modern manufacturing environments producing high-precision components for the aerospace and engineering sectors.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Setting and operating CNC Turning, Milling or Grinding machines.
    • \n
  • Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
    • \n
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
    • \n
  • Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
    • \n
  • Using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
    • \n
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping.
    • \n
  • Programming experience is advantageous but not essential.
    • \n

What We're Looking For

  • Previous CNC machining experience (Turning, Milling or Grinding).
    • \n
  • Ability to Set & Operate CNC machinery.
    • \n
  • Experience working within precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing.
    • \n
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • \n
  • Programming knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
    • \n
