Asbestos Surveyor

Our client is a specialist environmental consultancy providing asbestos surveying and management services across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The role will cover Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, working predominantly across residential properties. This is a field-based position, with a company van and fuel card provided. Asbestos Surveyor Salary & Benefits: £30,000 - £34,000 DOE Company van Fuel card 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension Asbestos Surveyor Job Overview: The successful Asbestos Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a range of residential and social housing properties, ensuring surveys are completed accurately and in line with relevant legislation and industry standards. The role will include: Carrying out asbestos management and refurbishment surveys Identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials Taking samples where required Recording survey findings accurately Producing detailed survey reports Liaising with clients, residents and other site personnel Managing your own workload and travelling between sites across the region Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Asbestos Surveyor Job Requirements: Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor P402 or equivalent qualification is essential Experience working within social housing or residential properties is highly desirable Good knowledge of asbestos surveying procedures and relevant legislation Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills Full UK driving licence Must be able to successfully pass a DBS check Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
