Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor Central London | Permanent | Excellent Career Progression A growing main contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious AQS who has gained a few years' experience and is now looking for the next step in their career. The business has a strong pipeline of live projects and is looking for someone who wants to develop, take on more responsibility and build a long-term career within the commercial function. The business currently has a number of live schemes across London, this role is to join a brand new residential project in London Bridge valued at £22m. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of commercial activities, including: Valuations and applications for payment Procurement and subcontract management Cost control and reporting Package management Working closely with project and commercial teams What We're Looking For A few years' experience within a construction commercial environment Ideally, experience with a main contractor Exposure to live projects, valuations and procurement A commercially switched-on approach Good communication and organisational skills A strong work ethic and positive attitude A genuine desire to learn and progress You'll be joining a busy environment where you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced commercial professionals, gain greater responsibility and progress your career.
