MLD Teaching Assistant - Windsor Are you enthusiastic about supporting young people with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) in their education and personal development? A high-quality Secondary SEN school in Windsor is looking for a committed, motivated, and inspiring MLD Teaching Assistant to join their team! As an MLD Teaching Assistant, the role will include: Providing 1:1 support for students with moderate learning difficulties Supporting small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks Helping students develop their confidence, independence, and communication skills Assisting teachers with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs Supporting the implementation of individual education and support plans Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentWhat We Look For in an MLD Teaching Assistant: Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with young people A calm and supportive approach to behaviour and learning An interest in supporting students with additional learning needs Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school teamThis role provides invaluable experience for psychology, education, criminology, and other graduates looking to build a platform for a career working with young people and within education.
