Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailers automated distribution centre in Stoke. Ideally seeking an electrically biased, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the engineering team. If you have strong electrical skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role could be a great fit for you.

- 3 on 3 off shift pattern (12 hour Days and Nights) (6-6) \n
- 24 Shifts per year holiday \n
- 6% match Pension \n
Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
\n- \n
- Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly \n
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment \n
- Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system \n
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times \n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives \n
Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:
\n- \n
- Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications \n
- Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment \n
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7 \n
- Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential \n
- Happy to work a shift pattern with days and nights. \n
- Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc) \n
