Solution Architect - Cloud InfrastructureContract: Inside IR35Rate: Up to £600 per dayLocation: Reading - 2 days per week onsitePayroll: Client-run PAYE - no umbrella required, with employer NI coveredWe're looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join a major enterprise technology transformation programme. This is a delivery-focused architecture role, where you'll take ownership of end-to-end technical solutions, working across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, networking, security and identity. You'll work closely with product teams, engineers, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and fit for purpose.What You'll Be Doing\n

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions
\n
• Define solution options, assess trade-offs and make architectural recommendations
\n
• Provide architecture governance and technical assurance throughout delivery
\n
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, blueprints and design decisions
\n
• Work across Azure, OCI, networking, identity, security and hybrid connectivity
\n
• Manage technical risks and ensure operational readiness and supportability
\n
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, vendors and delivery partners
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• 8+ years' technology experience, with significant experience in an architectural role
\n
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions
\n
• Strong infrastructure architecture experience across cloud and hybrid environments
\n
• Deep understanding of networking, identity, security, connectivity and monitoring
\n
• Experience with Azure and/or OCI
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• Experience providing architectural governance and design assurance
\n
• Retail or large-scale migration experience would be advantageous
\n
