Primary Teacher

Location: South Manchester (M20) Pay: £160 – £210 per day Contract Type: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent potential) Start Date: Next Term About the Role An "Outstanding" rated primary school situated in M20 is searching for an inspiring and passionate Primary Teacher to take on a Year 4 or Year 5 class. The school prides itself on high academic standards, strong community ties, and a rich, creative curriculum. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential. Create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and extracurricular school activities. Role Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Proven track record of strong classroom management and pupil engagement. Mandatory DBS & Safeguarding Requirements Enhanced DBS Certificate with a Children's Barred List check (Update Service preferred). Satisfactory clearance through Overseas Police Checks (where applicable). Two professional references from recent education management/leadership. Complete adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance
