BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT Prospero Teaching work closely with high-achieving schools based in Bournemouth, and one of our fantastic partner schools is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to students, helping to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and learning both inside and outside the classroom. THE ROLE Location: Bournemouth Position: Behaviour Support Assistant Type of work: Full Time Contract: Long term Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Minimum rate of pay: £75 Hours: 08:30 - 3:30YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Classroom support - activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional support Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups Break/Lunch time supervision Keeping progress reportsEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential) Previous experience working in a UK School Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional, child-related referencesAPPLICATION PROCESS If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
